Adam Smith

Adam Smith was a economist who had alot of ideas. Adam's birthdate has never been found out but he was baptized June 5th and was born in Kirkcaldy, Scotland One of his books that he created in 1776, that is now a famous peace, was called The Wealth of Nations. In his book he said that wealth is not gold and silver but it is the essential of life, such as food, clothes, houses, transportation, communications, schools, good roads, factories, and cultivated farms. Adam's thoughts in the threat of a free market economy is government inferences.
For many people, Adam's economic principles can be summarized as:
1. Freedom to try
2. Freedom to buy
3. Freedom to sell
4. Freedom to fail

Adam Smith's Start

When he was just 14 he entered the University of Glasgow to study Moral Philosophy, during this course he learned many things and this is where his desire for free speech and liberty sprung. His for job from their was a public lecturer but his success was not to end their because of his high intelligence. He then took up the subject "the progress of opulence". From here at a young age of 25 he developed the economical philosophic idea about the system of liberty. Then in 1750 he met his Hume 10 years older then him, he worked with him over time to form together their ideas such as politics, economics, religion, etc. These writings soon became The Scottish Enlightenment. A year later, he went back to the university to become the chair of logic. Which did not last to long. Until he changed to be the chair of moral philosophy. Then later in 1759 he published a book called The Theory of Moral Sentiments,

Adam's Next Big Step

From 1764-1766 he gave up his other job and became a tutor for Charles Townshends step son the Duke of Bucchleuch in France. Later on he got home form France he was elected Royal Society of London, where he devoted the next 10 years of his life to writing his Magnum Opus.He was then appointed to the prestigious of Lord Rector at the university. Then after a painful illness he passed away July 17th, 1790, asking that all work that is not publishable to be destroyed.

Capitalism

Capitalism is the economic model that calls for individual households and privately owned businesses to control the economy. It is one of the to main economic models. The other is central planning, which calls for government control of the economy.

Free Market System

Capitalist economies rely on Free Markets. They permit people to engage in economic activities largely free from government control. The Scottish economic Adam Smith, in his classic work The Wealth of Nations set forth the principles of a free-market system. According to Smith, society benefits if individuals are allowed to pursue their own self-interests in markets where competition set the prices that allocates goods among buyers and sellers. Smith believed that competition would, without control or direction, act as if by a invisible hand to determine market prices.

The Good and Bad of Green Jobs

There is plenty of ways why Green Jobs are great in some ways and bad in some ways, but these are just a few of them. They could be good in ways because of environmental care and more employment.
Green Jobs could help the environment by producing goods that don't hurt the planet in any way because it would cause less pollution and nature care. People could also make recycling plants to cause less garbage fill. Going green for jobs could also help more employment. Just a few sentences before, it explained how people could make recycling plants. But without employment, the place couldn't run so that would cause more employment. There may be good sides about Green Jobs, but, it could also cause things like even more pollution and chaos. For example, even though Green People are trying to get the world shipped into a better place without pollution, they still cause pollution that they might not even know about. Like recycling plants, they cause gas to do their job. And they might be causing pollution in their houses too without even knowing. Chaos for example can be like people being freaked out by "worlds end". In the end, Green Jobs could be 50/50 in good ways and bad ways.

My Opinion in Green Jobs

In my opinion, Green Jobs are a great thing because of environmental care. Like the last paragraph, I think that they could bring peace to some nature preserved areas. It could also cause less extinction from animals so we could help more and more of them. Plus if Earth did get polluted, then it would distinct the thought of world pollution. That is why I would push into the direction of Green Jobs.
